Turf Technicians are the primary caretakers of the golf course and perform a wide variety of tasks. These tasks range from the operation of light equipment to manual maintenance and construction tasks. Equipment operation includes everything from running light utility vehicles, to mowing tees, greens, rough and fairways. Manual tasks include digging, edging, weed control, raking, equipment cleaning and lubrication and general clean up, operating under company S.O.P.’s.. Golf Course experience is an asset, and although a level 1 position is entry level, it is an integral position. A level 1 operator is an entry level position that will be involved in various aspects of golf maintenance.
